    UMJ Nursing program is one of the nursing education institution that was founded in 2001 . Nursing program is a means of developing FIK UMJ tiered nursing education within the Bachelor of Nursing stages , nurses , and a Masters in Nursing Programs Nursing FIK UMJ directing graduates to be able to nurse a superior Islamic , global standards and be able to apply knowledge in a professional nursing in a variety of health care order .

HISTORY
 

    Faculty of Medicine and Health , University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta starting with the establishment of the Faculty of Public Health ( FKM ) in 1996 with the Public Health study programs . In 1998 , D. III Midwifery program submitted to the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta supporting them so renowned faculty transformed into the Faculty of Health Sciences ( FIKES ) in 2001 . In the same year back in the opening of the new courses namely Nursing Science Program is tiered S1 . Two years later, in 2003, began to be held so that the S1 Medical Education Faculty of Medicine and Health , University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta ( FKK UMJ ) has 5 courses namely Medical Education Program , Nursing Science Program , Public Health Studies Program , Study Program D. III Nursing and Midwifery Studies Program .

 
     In order to follow the development and needs of the community in the field of health professionals , especially nursing profession , it is necessary to prepare nursing personnel were professional in their field . In the effort to strengthen the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta institutions of higher education in the competition then all components of the nursing courses agreed to open the Faculty of Nursing .

 
    Faculty of Nursing was officially launched in Jakarta on 4 April 2013 , It is Based on the Decree of the Rector of Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakata No. 194 of 2013 on the opening of the Faculty of Nursing Science, University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta . FIK UMJ is a development of the Nursing Science Program Tier One ( S1 ) and Diploma Program ( D3 ) Nursing and the Master ( S2 ) Nursing .
